Dead Space: Extraction sold less than 10,000 in US last month

According to NPD, the Wii title Dead Space: Extraction sold a depressing 9,000 in the U.S last month.

Those numbers are the worst I've seen on any platform in a very long time, and according to EEDAR analyst Jesse Divnich, EA's the one to blame because they didn't advertise the game.

'Electronic Arts didn't market Dead Space: Extraction as much as it does with other titles," Jesse said.

"If Electronic Arts spent little on marketing, I'm sure the sell through was no surprise to them. So I don't believe the sell through was a surprise to EA."

Wow, just wow.
