You know, it just wouldn't be Pachter if he had nothing to say, and say again, about all that's happening in the gaming industry. But that's not a bad thing; the guys a genius, right? Anyway, in his latest preview for the upcoming Q3 results for Activision Blizzard this thursday, the Webush Morgan Securities anaylyst has said that he expects Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 to gross $500 million the first week it's on the market.
"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 should allow Activision to achieve guidance. We expect global sales to exceed $500 million in the firs week following launch, and think that the company can easily sell 10 million units in Q4.
Buy it next Thursday for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Nintendo gets its own version dubbed Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Reflex. Phew, darn long name wouldn't you say?
