We want to give Zelda fans "a fresh surprise" says Aonuma

You probably won't see much from Nintendo concerning Zelda until E3 2010, that's when a planned showing is scheduled for, however, you'll surely hear a lot leading up to the reveal.

Eiji Aonuma, producer of Zelda has said in an interview that he wants to give Zelda fans "a fresh surprise" in the new game in the series for the Wii, but only if they don't follow the same structure former titles have followed.

"It is something we used to talk about with Mr. Miyamoto, and he and I agree that if we're following the same structure again and again, we might not be able to give long time Zelda fans a fresh surprise.

"So we have been trying something new in terms of structure of the Wii version of the new Zelda game this time," Aonuma said. "I am very hopeful that people will be surprised with the changes we have implemented for this Wii version," he concluded.

Sounds interesting. What ever you do Eiji, don't mess this up. Please don't mess this up.
