Budget Thirst: Great downloads on the Cheap.

For the budget minded PC gamers out there I suggest you check out your Steam account today or set one up if you haven't already. Steam's annual game sale is in full force through Jan. 3 2010 with updated daily specials. Personally I just picked up S.T.A.K.E.R. for $1.99 and the GofTY Edition of Fallout for $37 bucks and look forward to my week off to play both. With tons of games for as low as $.99 this is a great time to fill those gaming coffers that should help you get through the slow summer release schedule we endure every year. Heck with those kind of deals you can probably even tempt Mom into buying you a couple before Christmas by telling her that her favorite games Luxor and Mahjong are only $.99 on Steam today.

For the PSN players check out the deals and game discounts Sony dropped on us today. Several top download games for as low as 4.99 and the complete edition of Burnout for just 20.99. If you have been waiting to get a great arcade racer then you cant beat that deal, with mass amounts of added content since the original disk based version was released. Also available are several PSP games for PSP and the 2 guys out there that bought the PSP GO.

Check out the full list of PSN sale games below. As for Steams sale the list is almost the entire site so you'll have to do the leg work yourself on that one. Sorry 360 and Wii fans but I haven't been able to dig up any big deals with those consoles respective online marketplaces but we will let you know if we hear something.
