Among Final Fantasy fans, the 8th game in the franchise is an example of love it or hate it. I personally didn't care much for it but regardless, Sony has officially listed it under the "coming soon" section in an email they recently sent out to customers of the Playstation Network.
Final Fantasy VII has remained one of the best-selling games in the store and has remained at the number 5 mark for several months now. Do you think Final Fantasy VIII has the same lasting appeal?
FFVII has a price of $9.99 on the PSN so I can only assume that FFVIII will be the same. No release date has been given but it's more then likely going to be within the next month.
