This was bound to happen. When you have a title that's arguably the highest anticipated in its genre, the inevitable occurs.
According to the Unofficial Final Fantasy Site, retailers in Japan have broken the street date of Final Fantasy XIII and it's available in their stores. The official release date is December 17th, just one day away so it's not too bad I suppose.
The site got some images of the box and some screens from the game, go check it out. Japan officially goes mad in one day.
