With the recent announcement as well as the trailer that debuted at the VGAs, it's obvious that fans have been chomping at the bit for any information regarding the newest iteration in the 'POP' series, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands.
Well Ubisoft has answered your calls in the best way they know how; with barely any information whatsoever.
Coming to PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo DS and PSP, the newest title will take place between Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and Prince of Persia: Warrior Within (2004), detailing the Prince's efforts to save his brother's kingdom from destruction.
Ubisoft promises "epic wow moments," noting that the Prince will "discover that great power often comes with a great cost" as he copes with a "new storyline, the introduction of new characters, and new powers over nature and time."
All versions of the game are due out in May 2010. This is also the month that the Prince's debut on the big screen is also going to occur. No coincidence obviously. Ubisoft also noted that the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions will offer "a different gaming experience" than Wii, Nintendo DS and PSP.
