Oscar Carlen, a lightning artist for EA DICE has listed two "2009-present" projects as part of his portfolio including Mirror's Edge 2 and Battlefield 3.
EA's been doing some trimming down lately and many feared that the Mirror's Edge franchise gobutchered with so many others, but maybe, just maybe EA decided to got edgy with this one and give it another chance.
The game sold just over 1 million copies with sales split between the two platforms it's available on to roughly 500k each, which is not good enough for EA. If this rumor turns out to be true, let's all hope the next iteration fairs better.
