Being the head honcho at Nintendo these days we assume, is like back when the NES was released; They ruled the day, and now it's dejavu all over again. Not only are they the best selling console maker by miles this generation, their games are also atop the best sellers list, Wii Sports being the best selling game of all time with over a staggering 40 million copies sold. Now they've cut the price of the Wii from $249 to $199 and as expected, sales are back up above all other consoles, the DSi's also giving a stellar performance selling over 2 million units since launch, which was not too long ago.

In a recent interview with CNBC, Reggie Fils-Aime talked about the recent Wii price cut and the company's strategy for the upcoming holiday season. He said the manufacturer (Nintendo) was counting on a strong showing for the handheld while he revealed the amount sold thus far (presumably in the US).
He also brought Walmart into the spotlight stating that the retail giant has been their biggest customer, and to that we say, duh? I mean, Walmart only has a super-center in every state; Anyways it's good to see Nintendo flourish, there's a time for everything under the sun I guess.
