Effective September 27th, the new price point will be $200. Rumors have been floating around for a few weeks now, but finally, Nintendo did it. No info yet on whether this is only for North America or global.
Now, go pick your self up a Wii. No? Why not? Too much work you say? I see.
[UPDATE] The price cut will be for North America and Japan. In Japan, the reduction kicks in on October 1st, dropping from 25,000 (USD$273) to 20,000 (USD$218).
