2010 shaping up to be a huge year for the Wii

When it comes to first-party content, 2010 appears is gearing up to be the Nintendo Wii's biggest year ever. With huge titles like Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid: Other M and the possible release of the newest Legend of Zelda game on the console, Nintendo fans have immense reason to be happy. Even Nintendo's very own Reggie Fils-Aime appears to be excited about the upcoming year.

“Absolutely (we’re excited about next year). And in terms of the three that we highlighted during E3, Sin and Punishment first off is going to be something that the Nintendo fan can get really excited about. Galaxy 2, what can you say? Mr. Miyamoto himself is very excited about it. He thinks it really adds even more to that great title. And then Other M. And that’s another franchise that personally I’ve got great memories of. Back to a side-scrolling Metroid title. So, all great.”

Dust off that old Wii folks, it's time to fall in love with Nintendo all over again, we hope.
