Activision, Infinity and Treyarch have owned the battle front for some time now with their killer app the Call of Duty franchise, but EA sees the whole picture, and thinks that the war is far from over when it comes to who dominates war games. Their strategy, revive Medal of Honor. During yesterday's Q2 conference call, EA Games Label President Frank Gibeau confirmed the aforementioned.
"In the months ahead, you'll hear more about our plans to revitalize core IP, including the Medal of Honor franchise," Gibeau said.
The Medal of Honor Franchise became irrelevant back in 07 when three titles were released, and not one managed to garner positive attention: Medal of Honor: Airborne, Medal of Honor: Heroes 2, and Medal of Honor: Vanguard.
