Paul W.S. Anderson has his eye on new movie projects

Paul W.S. Anderson, the man currently overseeing the fourth title in the 'Resident Evil' film franchise entitled 'Resident Evil: Afterlife' has expressed interest in future projects, both of which happens to be based on video games. Just when we thought 'Prince of Persia' was going to redeem the genre.

The popular entertainment news website ShockTillYouDrop recently had an interview with Resident Evil: Afterlife co-producer Jeremy Bolt who stated that, "Paul W.S. Anderson is still circling video game adaptation Castlevania at Rogue Pictures and that they are waiting on a script."

What is the other popular gaming franchise he wants to bring to the big screen you may be asking yourself? Metal Gear Solid.

"Bolt added that he and Anderson would like to adapt Konami's Metal Gear Solid for the big screen at Columbia Pictures," ShockTillYouDrop reported.

There are so many things wrong with that sentence that we don't know where to begin but don't worry folks, nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
