Modern Warfare 2 Steam PC version locked till Thursday

So first you could not play MWII until today on your PC if you purchased it early, now according to Steam's Modern Warfare 2 page, you can't touch the thing until Thursday? Wow, what's going on here? Can't give you an answer on this one, the game's out now for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, so we have no clue what's the deal.

Sorry if you preloaded on steam. Sorry.

PC version of Modern Warfare 2 won't work until Tuesday

Looking to jump in on the Modern Warfare 2 early playing, street date breaking craziness that have been occurring? Well you can't. PC gamers it seems are always getting shafted right? This is getting out of control.

"If you bought a retail copy on PC, you can play it on 11.10.09," Robert Bowling of Infinity Ward tweeted.

Most likely it's because the game uses steam works, so therefore it'll be locked till Tuesday.

So You have the hard copy of the game you've been waiting to play for so long and now, all you can do is touch it, gaze at it, smile even, but you can't play the darn thing until tomorrow. Don't worry, it's only a few hours away.
