Halo 3: ODST giving disc errors, gamers complain


Although the latest Halo game has been criticized as being too expensive, that didn't stop series affectionados from purchasing it on day one. In fact, 2 million strong bought Halo 3: ODST on first day of release. But now, we might need to call in Master Chief because we have a problem, a very serious problem.

According to a lengthy thread on Bungie.net, several Halo 3: ODST players are having various technical issues with the game. Users are reporting that while playing, disc errors suddenly occur, rendering the game unplayable. This situation is indeed unfortunate, but not much are surprised by what's happening. Many are well aware of the issue affecting older consoles with old DVD drives. It's worth pointing out that this issue seems to be happening only to the ODST campaign and fire fight mode. The multiplayer disc is not affected.

If you're having problems with Halo 3: ODST, voice your concerns hear, Bungie is looking into the situation, fielding questions, whilst trying to rectify the issue. Let's hope it gets resolved soon.
