Snake, snake, snaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake! Solid snake just won't give up no matter how hard you try to press him down. Looking at amazon's best sellers chart, MTG4 is No. 4, that's just one slot beneath Halo 3: ODST, and I spot higher than Uncharted 2: Among thieves. No doubt UC2 will eventually take over its competitors, but to see Metal Gear Solid 4 in the top five best sellers list, after being out for more than a year, you can't help but root for Solid snake as he "sales" (got it?) into the sunset and pass the codec to Raiden.
We're on your side Sir, a Legend indeed.

@ Ali, yeah, they really need to add trophy support for what is arguably the best PS3 game to date.

Yes jleack,a masterpiece indeed. When I first played the game, I was enthralled in Old Snake's last effort for days, weeks even.
Kojima and the crew did an excellent job with this one, but then again it's Kojimasan; what did we expect? : )
with the recent article, that no ps3 exclusive has sold 5 million copies, this game is gonna be the first breakthrough as it stands at 4.75 million copies as of May 2009. Without doubt the greatest game ever made
The story is amazing! And super long!
Right on point there Gillani, Metal Gear Solid 4 will definitely be the first, but with games like Uncharted 2 and Gran Turismo 5 coming out, it'll definitely not be the last.
@ ON1X, super rich with topnotch content that even Hollywood must respect. Let's hope the team handling Metal Gear Solid Rising will keep up.
