Uncharted 2 is now the bestselling game on amazon

In four days, one of the greatest games ever made will be in your living rooms all across the world, and on amazon's bestsellers list, that game's now at the top spot.

Really, there's nothing more Sony and Naughty Dog could do; They've created a genre defining experience with Nathan Drake and his gang, they're advertising the living daylights out of the game, held events all across the globe to raise awareness, and now the only thing left is for gamers to go out and buy the it.

In the words of Mr. Drake himself, "what's that saying, Fortune favors the bold?" You got it right Drake, fortune does favor the bold, and the results are already showing.

Uncharted 2 overtakes Halo 3: ODST on amazon's bestsellers list

October 13th is closing in, and on amazon's bestsellers list Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is the best selling video game as of today.

Take a look for yourself, the only contender to Naughty Dog's critically acclaimed title is the Nintendo Wii which recently received a price cut. If this keeps up, it's not hard to see Uncharted selling at least 1 million units in the first week, which in my humble opinion would be well deserved. There's nothing to scoff at concerning Halo 3: ODST however, the game ruled the bestsellers list for months, and the recent drop probably means finally ODTS's momentum is abating.

Props to Bungie for making an excellent game for Xbox 360 fans, now it's the PS3 owners turn to stay up all night "among thieves" hunting for treasures all the while leading Drake on a world wide death defying adventure in what many critics proclaim as the best single player experience they've ever had. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves will be available October 13th and 16th in the US and Europe respectively.

PS3, Uncharted 2, and the dual shock 3 all dominate Amazon's top 5 best sellers list

Although Halo 3: ODST still is at the number one spot, it's now safe to say the Sony brand is back to it's former glory. And not just because a fluctuating chart on amazon says so, but rather, what is occurring around the globe. The PS3's on a roll, and Sony couldn't be more pleased.

A quick peak at amazon's best sellers list, and you'll see not only one or two, but three spots held by the Hardware giant. The dual shock 3 holds the number 2 spot, while Uncharted 2, and the PS3 slim holds the third and fourth spots respectively. As we said earlier, if you want to play Uncharted 2: Among Thieves for the holidays, you need to rush out and pick up a PS3 now. There might be shortages this Christmas. Hey, don't say we didn't warn you.

Stop the Whinning. At Amazon, Halo ODST is 51 Bucks

It's true, an extension to Halo 3, (which is basically what Halo 3: ODST is, albeit a great one) should not cost the faithful Halo fans a staggering $60.00. And I agree completely, but why complain? At amazon, the game's only $50.99. Yes that's 9 bucks in your pocket you can put towards Forza 3, or maybe even Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, (that's assuming you own a PS3).

Gamers and critics alike have blasted Microsoft, claiming that the Redmond company was reaping off its loyal base by charging so much for an extension pack, with some game reviewers slashing marks off the overall game score because of the hefty price tag. Well complain no more, cause amazon's got you covered. And to think all it took was a little shopping around. Why you lazy gamer you.

Metal Gear Solid 4 back in the top 5 best sellers

Snake, snake, snaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake! Solid snake just won't give up no matter how hard you try to press him down. Looking at amazon's best sellers chart, MTG4 is No. 4, that's just one slot beneath Halo 3: ODST, and I spot higher than Uncharted 2: Among thieves. No doubt UC2 will eventually take over its competitors, but to see Metal Gear Solid 4 in the top five best sellers list, after being out for more than a year, you can't help but root for Solid snake as he "sales" (got it?) into the sunset and pass the codec to Raiden.

We're on your side Sir, a Legend indeed.
