Fans of Jak and Daxter have been waiting long years for the return of their favorite super hero, but as time passes, so does the chance of seeing another Jak and Daxter game. Well according to Naughty Dog's Arne Meyer, there might be another installment featuring the dynamic duo.
Speaking in an interview with EGTV, Arne pointed out the progression from one new franchise to the next with every next gen system is the norm for them, that's why they made Crash Bandicoot on the PS1, Jak and Daxter on the PS2, and now it's Nathan Drake's turn on the PS3. When asked by EGTV will Naughty Dog make another Jak game, Arne replied:
"We definitely hear a lot from our Jak and even Crash fans from a long time ago, um, and we really hear those things and you know we'd love to be able to be working on a new Jak for them at some point so, that might be in the cards but right now we're really sort of focused on working through this franchise," he says. The interviewer then pitched the question a different way determined to get an answer, she asked again is there a possibility that Jak will make his debut on the PS3, to which Arne wisely answered:
"Well we would like to be able to work on it." Nicely put Arne, now as soon as you're done with Uncharted 2, go work on it. See the full interview here.
