Naughty Dog: "We were hoping for a [PS3] price cut forever"

Just like the millions of fans around the world waiting impatiently for a PS3 price cut, the Naughty Dog team were on that waiting list as well.

Speaking in an interview, multiplayer designer Justin Richmond was asked whether he was pleased with the recent PS3 price cut:

"We'd been hoping for a price cut forever, just as fans of PS3, but obviously we got really lucky. I think Christophe and Evan Knew but nobody else knew anything about it. And with the [Uncharted 2] bundles it's a pretty big win for us. We want to push PS3 as much as we possibly can. It's an awesome machine and we believe in it really strongly, so price cuts or whatever gets it into people's hands is what we want," he said.

Well Hallelujah, they're getting into people's hands by the millions as we speak, so Justin must be a happy man. Sony has really stepped up their game a hundredfold since the PS3 Slim was released, and with such momentum, it would take a massive, and I mean massive turn of events to steal the Hardware giant's thunder this Christmas.

  4. Naughty Dog and Insomniac Games are my fav devs this gen, and judging by the quality of both Uncharted 2 and Ratchet And Clank, I think PS3 owners are in for a right treat this Xmas!

  6. The ps3 has always had good games, I even thought it was worth every penny when it was selling for $600-$400 range. It's just that people are too cheap to purchase this when the "unrealiable xbox360" which broke down on me "FIVE" times, is cheaper. Uncharted 2 looks and plays incredible, don't forget ps3 has Heavy Rain, Killzone2, Resistance 2, Ratchet and Clank, Gran Turismo 5, Agent, and alot more without Microsoft talking shit and making statements on lies and money. That's Bill Gates in a nutshell. They still didn't fix the "RROD", all xbox fans already started bending over, and says I want more. LoL

  11. you know u sound like a virgin right......i know ur prob just doin ur job but u know what i think cesorship is trying to take over the internet and that defeats the purpose of what internet is free speech, uncensored and if u dont like dont look at it and if ur worried ur kids will see then ur just gunna have to be a parent for once and find ur own damn way to censor it from THEM not the lazy way and get a someone else to censore it from all of us.censore ship is the ruining games today and the cause of game delays and longer development times. they have to jump through hoopes to please those stuck up mothers that r too lazy to be a parent. if its an m rated game. i hate how games arnt treated like movies its such a double standard. movies slap r rated on it and u can see anything. even if its r rated on video games theres still limitations which is bs. u can delete my comment i dont care. for the last time movies are more real then videogames.
