There seems to be no slowing down with the Prince of Persia franchise. It has been well received across the boards and today, Ubisoft announced that the next installment will hit store shelves sometime in May of next year, and it'll be available for "consoles and handhelds".
No details were given other than "it'll feature many of the fan-favorite elements from the original series as well as new gameplay innovations".
A trailer will also be shown at the VGAs on December 12th, 2009. Exciting news!
