Again I say, talk what you wish about Nintendo and their flagship console Wii, but there's one thing you can't deny and that's the sheer amount of success the company has had this generation. Microsoft and Sony might be struggling to break even, but Nintendo is printing money at this point, and although third party developers haven't had the level of success Nintendo's own titles have, some companies like EA have seen good profits from their Wii games.
Nintendo however reigns supreme, with games like Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, Wii Fit, and Wii Fit plus being among the best selling games of all time on any console. And now, Super Mario Bros. Wii has taken the baton and is executing success.
According to Famitsu, the Nintendo Wii title sold 936,734 copies in Japan as of December 6th. Can Nintendo be any happier?
