Video Thirst: Super Smash Bros. Now Available On The Wii Store

Yesterday's downloadable updates on the Nintendo Wii's store marks the 500th available item on the virtual marketplace and Nintendo is celebrating the momentous occasion by releasing one of the most highly requested games on the service, the original Super Smash Brothers for the Nintendo 64.

The game costs 1000 Wii Points which is basically the same as $10 and If you have been living under a rock for years and don't know what Super Smash Brothers is, it's a fighting game featuring Nintendo's all-stars that has spawned two of the most successful Nintendo games to date.

Featured above is the original TV commercial that is full of so much awesome that it isn't even funny so definitely check it out.

Video Thirst: Brutal Legend - Hammer Of Infinite Fate DLC Trailer

For those who conquered the world of Metal and Rock, Double Fine and EA are releasing new DLC for their hit title Brutal Legend. Sadly it isn't an expansion on the story or anything but it should tide fans over until that DLC inevitably comes.

Sound the battle cry and quench your thirst!

Video Thirst: Green Day: Rock Band - Debut Trailer

Are you kidding me? Seriously? Well, it looks like Green Day is finally getting the Rock Band treatment because Harmonix (the company responsible for Rock Band) have decided to milk the series for all it's worth just like Guitar Hero before it.

Are you ready to shell out another $60 dollars for something that could have just been a DLC package?

Video Thirst: Medal of Honor - Debut Trailer

Is it possible that EA has finally built their Modern Warfare killer? They already had Battlefield: Bad Company but this one looks like it might even be the destroyer of Bad Company as well.

The graphics are..impressive to say the least. I am definitely looking forward to this one.

Video Thirst: Crackdown 2 - Trailer 2

The newest trailer to the highly-anticipated Crackdown 2 has finally been released and all I can say is. Would you like to blow it up with me? Yes. Yes I would very much so.

It may look a little to similar to Prototype for my liking but just the fact that you get to play with friends is more then enough for me.

Video Thirst: Spec Ops: The Line - Debut Trailer

Yet another game that is trying to bank on the success of the Call of Duty's switch over to the modern era.

Does it look like it could be a promising title? Yes, but can anyone else remember the bug ridden mess that was the original Spec Ops? Hopefully they managed to master their craft enough to give us a finished game.

Video Thirst: Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands - Debut Trailer

As soon as this title was announced, fans of the series started drooling at the mouth.

Is it a mere coincidence that the prince in this game looks very similar to the prince in the upcoming Prince of Persia: Sands of Time movie? Probably because we know Ubisoft wouldn't cash in on the success of a movie right?

Video Thirst: Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2 - Debut Trailer

Are you ready to once again wield the force and destroy everything that stands in your way? I can't wait to start tossing worthless storm troopers off of cliffs and send them flying into spacecraft. Good times.

Probably one of the most epic trailers shown at this year's VGAs, it's just disappointing that it wasn't a third Battlefront game.

Video Thirst: UFC Undisputed 2010 - Debut Trailer

The king of mixed martial arts games returns to consoles as you once again ever the octagon to battle it out in hand to hand combat.

This trailer is quite weaker considering most of it is just fighters talking while gameplay footage only takes up about 10 seconds of the trailer.

Video Thirst: Tron Evolution - Debut Trailer

With the new Tron sequel coming to theaters soon, a video game was something the industry just couldn't say no to.

Will it be any better then the movie? Actually the real question would be is the game going to be any good at all?

Video Thirst: Deadliest Warrior The Game - Debut Trailer

This is one of the least important announcements made at this year's show in my opinion.

Coming in the form of a download-able game, Deadliest Warrior is making it's way from the TV to the consoles. This is probably a really bad idea.

Video Thirst: True Crime - Debut Trailer

Another one of the mystery trailers that we were teased with prior to yesterday's VGAs has been revealed.

Is it possible that Activision might actually be able to give the series a good name after the terrible True Crime: New York City? This new title seems pretty promising.

Video Thirst: Batman Arkham Asylum 2 - Debut Trailer

Just one of the many new games announced at yesterday's VGAs. Batman must face off against the Joker once again but this time, Arkham has moved!

I didn't even know this one was in production but it has already shot straight up to the top of my most anticipated list. If it can outshine the first Arkham Asylum then this could very well be the greatest superhero game ever created.

Laughter Thirst: Woman obliterates PS3 with hammer, boyfriend can't stop her

"It's 3am and [my boyfriend] is now where to be found, don't know where to find him," that was the woman's intro before she sent the PS3 back to the dust from whence it came. That just sounded right - anyway she then set out searching for the dude swearing along the way.

He's on the couch 3am in the morning, his girlfriend is cold but he doesn't care; he's playing Ghostbusters on PS3.......watch the thing.

Video Thirst: It Only Does Unbelievable HD Entertainment Bundles

Sony's been on a roll lately with their ad campaign dubbed "It only does everything", and as expected, a brand new version is out, but this one offers the best deal of them all.

So how would you like to own a Sony Bravia HDTV, a PS3, one game and a Blu-ray movie all for a great low price? Yes? How about saving $1100 on top of that? Yes! We're just as excited as you are.

Last week, the hardware giant offered great Black Friday deals with PS3 bundled up with games and movies all for $299; and in no time, everything sold out. Obviously Sony wants to keep that momentum speeding right into the Christmas shopping season, hence their latest effort.

If you don't own a PS3, shame on you. Er, I mean, you should go buy one as soon as possible.

Quench you thirst now.
