Next COD won't be modern according to a hint given by Treyarch

If you can't get enough of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, don't expect Treyarch's iteration to quench your thirst; you'll have to wait until November 2011, when Infinity will undoubtedly drop another bombshell. Until then, settle for another Call of Duty game from Treyarch that takes you back to the old war zones.

Accoding to this tweet from OPM UK, a job posting for a level designer, requires those who apply to be able to "Research subject matter for history and look of the level".

As you should know by now, Actvision releases a Call of Duty title every year between Treyarch and Infinity. No surprise there but another shooter that take us back in time is a bit too much of the same don't you think?

Oh well, if that's the case, take me to Korea please.

Call of Duty Classic arrives on XBLA on Wednesday

For fans of the Call of Duty franchise who have had their fill of Modern Warfare 2 (highly unlikely) and who did not purchase the 'Hardened' or 'Prestige' editions of the game will be able to get their World War 2 fix this week on Xbox 360.

'Call of Duty Classic' will be launched on the Xbox Live marketplace on Wednesday and European Xbox Community Manager Graeme "AceyBongos" Boyd says the game will set you back 1200 Microsoft points as well as new achievements for those of you who crave them.

Remember to check which copy of MW2 you bought on launch day, as you may already have a code to download 'CoD: Classic' if you purchased the Prestige or Hardened editions. It would not be fun to waste 1200 points on something that's already yours.

Activision CEO Bobby Kotick rakes in the cash!

Recently a certain man has been making some really dumb remarks, first he said, if Sony don't cut the price of the PS3, his company (Acitvision) would stop supporting their platforms. Everyone disregarded Kotick's remarks as nonsensical, but the CEO was not satisfy, this time his tongue was dragging on dirt as he made another foolish comment:

"And Tony, you know if it was left to me, I would raise the prices even further."

In this statement, he was reffering to the price point of the already expensive video games. That's when gamers the world over got even more ticked off; in fact some are planning a boycott on the company's games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 set for release on November 10th 2009. I've always wondered why's this guy so, so, arrogant. I think we finally have the answer. The money is going to his head. Seriously, the CEO did pretty well for himself in 2008. Kotick's Compensation:

$14,950,102.00, wow. Good for you Mr. Kotick, now if you really want to keep on raking in the Benjamins, SHUT YOU MOUTH!

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, first look at Multiplayer Video

Is there a bigger game dropping this year? I didn’t think so. November 10th will be gamers holiday in my book; no work, no school, no nothing, just darn good FPS fun! Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling tweeted the first look at Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer and for the first time revealed the AC130 killstreak bonus. It’s just amazing, you get to call down terror on your enemies with your own AC130 air strike. Now how cool is that?

If only time could some how fast forward or at least fool us into believing it is zipping by; that would work for me. What about you? CODMDW2 will be “the biggest entertainment launch of all time,” says Activision and with the looks of things, I will have to agree. Great going infinity. Can’t wait for this one.

Modern Warfare 2 ‘Hardened Edition’ It’s $80

Are you planning on buying your wife or girlfriend any gifts come this holiday season? You should. You can’t put video games before your lady; that’s what you’ve been doing eh? Well sadly that trend won’t stop because if my calendar is right, there won’t be enough cash for the most of us to go buying all of this… (I’ll be getting the Hardened Edition mind you) but what about my wife’s new laptop? How’s it on your side? You might have to sacrifice some games this fall, or sacrifice your relationship that is unless your lady is a gamer.

Steel case, night vision goggles, an art book and Call of Duty Classic on XBLA or PSN all for $80, the info was released by Infinity Ward spokesman Robert Bowling via twitter.

One more thing, look carefully at the Hardened box, did you notice anything missing? Look harder, there’s no Call of Duty in sight; just Modern Warfare 2. Confusing to say the least.
